Supporting Otago Medical Research with an annual scholarship is one of the most important and beneficial things we do.
If you take the time to think about it, most of us have benefitted from medical research in one way or another.
Simone Thomas is the most recent Stonelake Scholar through our Otago Medical Research Foundation Scholarship programme. The scholarship enabled Simone to research Norovirus, one of the major causes of gastrointestinal illness. Simone has been awarded the Renshaw Prize for her amazing work.
Well done Simone, we’re super proud of your research and Renshaw Award.
Thanks also to Otago Medical Research and all the sponsors and supporters who are making a difference to the lives of many.
