We were incredibly humbled to be awarded three awards at the Annual 2016 McDonald's Business Awards including: The Hugh Morris People Award 2016 in recognition of excellence and innovation in employment practices Outstanding Restaurant of the Year Award (for the Anderson Bay Restaurant) and McDonald's NZ Operator of the Year!

No-one can accuse Brogan Anderson of shirking hard graft. For the second year running the 28-year-old Dunedin Mixed Martial Arts fighter has swapped his Christmas break for the world class Jackson/Wink MMA Academy in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. McDonald's Dunedin have been impressed by Brogan's drive and dedication to training and are proud supporters of this highly talented MMA fighter.

Many people were frightened of mental health conditions such as depression, and whilst greater awareness has helped, but suicide statistics are still far too high. One crusader who is helping spread awareness is Nikki Cockburn who has written a book about her experience of her partner's suicide. McDonald's Dunedin were moved to support Nikki in getting her book published.
