What an outstanding achievement made by our RMHC Dunedin Ambassadors. Raised $10,000 to 'keep families close' when their sick child is going through treatment. A special mention to Ronald McDonald, Birdie and Hamburgler for putting on a fabulous show. To our wonderful chefs on the BBQ sponsored by the fantastic team at Cartridge World, the talented ladies on face paints, the animal handlers and all the staff on the train. To all the families that joined us from as far away as Invercargill to help raise funds, we humbly thank you. Last but not least, our special friend Dave Henry for his vision and passion that has seen this train trip go from strength to strength and has raised over $100,000 in the eight years that it has been running.

If you've ever wondered about the impact of dropping your coins into the donation boxes, this is a little glimpse of just what is achieved...
Dunedin Blue Light aims to reduce young people becoming an offender or victim of crime and to build better relations between the police, young people, their parents and the community. We have been fortunate enough to give back in some shape or form and will be supplying 30 hygiene kits for troubled youth to teach them the basics. Things that alot of us take for granted some people just cannot afford or have bigger priorities. Get amongst it. We are in partnership with Dunedin Blue Light and hope that at the end of the course we can make a difference.
The generous Dunedin community raised a stagging $138,000 for Ronald McDonald House Charities NZ with the huge success of this year's Dunedin Supper Club! With the generous support of local chefs, restaurants and venues - the Supper Club, which was held in August, was the most successful it has been since the event began in the city. We can't begin to tell you how much every dollar of the funds raised will benefit those who need it providing care for our local families. Thank you Dunedin, you are incredible.
